When Humanity’s woes and misdeeds push the world beyond its breaking point, two wasteland veterans rediscover what it means to be part of a community, a society, a civilization.

Overview

In a world ravaged by the wastes of humanity, the air burns to the breath. Fresh air is a commodity to be bought and sold while life on earth is pushed to the brink of extinction. Civilization is forced into crowded dome cities with the demand to breathe sparking both new and old social tensions. The decision of who will take the last breath weighs on the hearts of many families.
Is that right? Is that even civil? Is a society built with fancy tools any more a civilization than one built with sticks and stones? Is it worth having the world at our fingertips if it’s a pile of ashes? What can we do? Is it even worth trying? Of course it is, but how? How do we fix it? In all their years Jacob and David never asked themselves, not until they got a glimpse of another way. A way to fix their broken world and the future that lies beyond it.
